Stopped in last night on our way back to central Missouri, and Nik was a phenomenal person to help us decide what we wanted, and was even nice enough to talk with us for a few minutes before we headed out! We devoured the Cheese Curds, I absolutely loved the Frito pie! I had an amazing stop! Will be back again soon.
Great atmosphere and value - while I didn't get to sample their varieties, I found my "mac a dew dog" delicious. The fritoooos hit the spot & they have salads too!!! Try the Torpedo & hand-dipped milkshake.
There are just those times when you need some good ol Dew Chilli.... This time I tried the smothered burrito. This was a new experience for me, but it won't be my last! Just make sure you are super hungry, or be prepared to have it for lunch the next day too because it is huge! The people who work there are friendly and eager to make your meal just like you want it.
Always great food, great service and a chill atmosphere. GM Devin has done a great job since I started going to Dew's again. I'll continue to go here!
I have only been here once so far. I had chilli on spaghetti with brands, onions and cheese. The dish was tasty and filling. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside just a place in a strip mall. It was nicer inside than I expected. The service was good as I got my food just s few minutes after ordering. The people were friendly and the food wasn't expensive. I have nothing to complain about. I am looking forward to visiting again.
Always skeptical/wary of restaurant chili and didn't expect my taco salad to have chili (it was suggested because they didn't have what I wanted which wasn't a big deal, they had just run out and there were only two employees) so I didn't even read the ingredients just said "sure!" (Taco salads are meant for two btw). The food we had was great and the employees were very friendly.
I was pleasantly surprised. Just trying to figure out where and what to eat. Decided to go to DEW just to try it out. I got a bowl of chili with the Fritos, shredded cheese, beans, and sour cream. I’m pretty picky, but this was Amazing.
I’m a Portillos gal, but I have to say the Chicago dog at Dew is second to none. If you’re craving a proper Chicago dog, this is the place to go in Springfield!! The staff is fun and friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxing and chill.
